As with any group, certain 'activities' lead to comic relief. What good is life without laughter? Here are some of the more humorous highlights.
Bob Phinney's "Hair he wishes he had"

While painting in Glacier National Park in the fall of 2005, a huge gust of wind knocked my easel over, including the 50 pound rock that was supposed to hold it down. The nearly finished original slid partially out of the easel carriage, and the whole works landed on the ground, bending my piece. The worst part was that my turps can sailed through the air and landed squarely on Janet Sullivan's completed pastel. I told her it helped to soften her edges. She wasn't amused...
Post script: I did build a frame for this piece that fits into a corner. It is my "corner on the market"...
Tom Gilleon, in whatever spare time he has, keeps his mind busy.
