Mark Ogle

Mark's career in the arts started at the Ace Powell
Bronze foundry in Kalispell in 1968 where he met and
worked with many local artists. Ace Powell, Joe Abbrescia,
Bud Helbig, Bob Cananaugh to name a few. "Everyone has their own
path to becoming an artist,but an artist must produce artto learn
and develop his or her own style." Mark opened his own Studio and
Gallery in 1980 in Kalispell Mt. and has been based out of it since.
Mark was born 1952. Since beginning his art career, he has won
Best of Show in 1979 and '82 at the Kalispell Art Show;
Arts for the Parks in 1988-'89-'90 and '99, Las Vegas Art Show in 1999,
Cover Artist on the Delta in flight Magazine May/June 2006 issue.
He has done extensive research and field painting in Alaska,
Ireland, Mexico,Japan,and US. National Parks.
For almost 30 years, Mark has worked out of his Studio
and Gallery in Kalispell MT. He continues to be very active
with the MPA, just finishing his presidency in 2012;
and with the Hockaday Museum in his home town.
