Janet Sullivan
Sullivan is a pastelist and oil painter who earned her BFA at the University of Colorado and continues to study artists she admires including: Gerard Curtis Delano, Carl Rungius, Maynard Dixon, Clyde Aspevig and William Lathrop.
Sullivan has been a full time artist since 1984 and has exhibited and won numerous awards nationally. Her pastel “Pumice Castle” was selected for the “Top 100” for the National Parks, Arts for the Parks program. She is a founding member of the Montana Painters Alliance . Janet is a board member and served as Secretary for 13 years and as President for one year. Now, she can often be seen painting plein air around her home in Missoula, Montana.
